The Wearable Paper Print Experiment
2023Bennington College, Martha Hill Dance Theater
A collaborative improvisational work between dancers, musicians, and costume designers exploring impermanence, sound, and movement. All garments are made from paper, employing different printmaking techniques to create pattern. Inspired by the colors and silhouettes of paper dresses of the 1960s. The outer dress shed and revealed the inner pleated form as the dance progressed.
